Hi all! Welcome to my first post!  I hope to use this blog as a way to stay connected with friends and most importantly keep my family (Mom) sane.  On November 29th I will embark on a 4 month journey through South and Central America.  I don't really have any idea what to expect or how accessible internet and regular communiction will be, so stay tuned ...

    Sophie, I'm so proud of you. I hope you have a wonderful experience in S. America and have some great stories to share with us. I will pray for your safety and well-being every day. I'm so sorry I did not get to see you before you left. I'm not a very good aunt because I never went to see you but I know how extremely busy you are.
