Next Stop TEJAS!!!!!!
This is it, the final chapter in my voyage through 6 countries (yes, that's right, this layover in El Salvador counts), 6 islands, 4 volcanoes, 8 lakes, under waterfalls, through a sacred valley, living on guinea pig and guanabauna, sailing high above the waves, surviving bed bugs, sea fleas, sealions, Frenchmen, an earthquake and finishing with 14 tornadoes in Dallas. Over 130 days, just livin' on love!
I definitely would not have had such a great experience without the love and support I got from my FAMILY and FRIENDS back home before and throughout my journey, thank you. Thank you so much for everything! To all the kind friends along my way and of course a BIG shout out to my travel angel, she's the real deal! She didn't miss a step!
Now I wish that I had something awe inspiring to say like "alas, the world is not flat," but I've got nothing. People in South and Central America seem to be just as awesome as in the North, I don't think a day went by I wasn't blown away by the kindness of the people and beauty of the culture and landscape. I come from the land of conveniences and I hope I can carry with me the notion of taking a little time out of my day to get to know a stranger or lend a hand.
I'm sure I'll be back one day there's a whole world I haven't seen, until then, hasta luego amigos!
