From blue waters to the blue mountains and everything in-between

It has been a very busy last couple weeks, I've seen some beautiful sights, ate some amazing food and met tons of really kind and easy-going people. I will just go over some of the highlights thus far!

Sydney has tons of walking tracks and I did my best to hit them all.....

(Shelly Beach in Manly- great snorkeling right off the beach, saw heaps of rays and the Dusky Whaler Shark!)
(One of the MANY ocean pools in Sydney, this one between Manly beach and North Head)

(Andrew (Boy) Charlton Pool on the Woolloomoolo Bay (yes, I spelled that right))

(Bondi to Coogee walk and wade)

(Tamarama Beach on the Bondi to Coogee walk)

(Cute lil surfer kids in their pink crop tops)

(Best Manly meal @ Banana Blossom- Chinese cabbage, avocado, cucumber, cherry tomatoes, green tea soba noodles, Asian herbs, Asian salad mix with creamy white sesame dressing and sesame seeds-yummm)

This was my evening view of the Opera house after meeting a friend I met in Belize two years ago for a tour of the Rocks area and stops at a few pubs for some local beer before ending at a gorgeous rooftop bar overlooking the city!

(panoramic view of the Sydney harbour bridge and Opera house before heading to the Royal Botanical Gardens)

(My last Australian ferry ride for now, G'day Sydney!)

Also loved exploring north to Freshwater, Curl Curl, and Palm beach to Barrenjoey Head light house (known as the backdoor to Sydney for smugglers). If their is a special heaven for swim teachers, I found it in Sydney! Love this city!
And now I'm headed west into the Blue mountains to a little town called Katoomba!

  1. I know it is just plain wrong to be jealous of your own child but ...
I have to at least give myself credit for helping to set her on this path (literally). Happy trails, mom!
