Don't go chasing waterfalls...

It really does seem like 3 weeks ago I was settling into Pachamama (volunteer hostel) in Ecuador and thinking to myself, how the heck am I going to get through three and a half weeks without a hot shower, soy milk, or my grapefruit face-wash with acne fighting bubbles! I'm now into month four and just look at me now, I'm happy if I get to wash my feet, I drink the tap water, and pretty much live on whole milk and bread.

Now in Buenos Aires, I thought I better do something exciting with my last week in South America before heading into Central America and making my way back home and so I went north to where Brazil, Argentina, and Paraguay meet.

From Buenos Aires it was an 18 hour bus ride with no stops and to my surprise not really any food or drink and a seatmate that definitely took more than his share of chair. So I arrived the next day with swollen feet, no sleep and hungry but still opted to walk the 5k to my hostel for a stretch and some fresh, hot, and humid air (kind of reminded me of home). This is the biggest hostel I've ever stayed at, it use to be a big Five Star Resort hotel. It's got a pool bar, tango show, the works, all for 10 bucks a night. Too bad all I want to do is sleep before a day trip to Parque Nacional Iguazu, home of  the second largest flow of any waterfall in the world, in the morning.

P.S. Had an amazing Birthday! Thanks for all the special b-day wishes:-)
